Functional Assessment
A decrease in your normal, expected performance can be caused by many things. Problems with joints, muscles, or the nervous system, and the way in which these work together, can often be the underlying reason. Any such dysfunction should be treated to help you make a full return to fitness and performance. A Functional Assessment can identify imbalances, which can be corrected through a variety of treatments and exercises, without altering your technique.

Pre-competition “tune ups”
After weeks, months or years of training it can be extremely frustrating for you (and everyone else concerned!) when you know your performance was not your best. Whatever your sport, unusual and minor physical malfunction in joints or muscles can badly affect total fitness. Once recognised as a problem, these can usually be corrected, thus improving your mobility and performance. We can give you pre-competition “tune ups” quickly and easily before your performance to help you to achieve your best!

Sports Injuries
Unfortunately, all sports have a risk of injury and taking part in them may lead to minor or major physical problems of a temporary or long- term nature. No matter whether you are new to a sport, an enthusiastic amateur, or a full-time professional you can be affected by injury. This may seem to be no more than a minor, if painful, inconvenience. Even if it is trivial, however, it should be properly diagnosed, treated and followed by a focused rehabilitation programme. Otherwise, it may lead to a permanent decrease in function and performance.

We can offer you:-

• treatment for most injuries

• advice on avoiding further aggravating injury

• rehabilitation

Chiropractic is the art and science practiced by chiropractors. In many ways chiropractic is similar to physiotherapy and osteopathy as practiced by physiotherapists and osteopaths. Although there is much debate about the difference between Chiropractors and Osteopaths, in reality their approaches have much in common. Physiotherapists who manipulate are also similar to Chiropractors and Osteopaths.
