Holistic Care

Wellness

For those who want or need a little more there is the Wellness approach. The two key concepts of this approach are:
1. Mind, body, spirit, social life, and environment are all interconnected and to achieve true health they must all be addressed.
2. Looking after your health does not stop when you feel better. Wellness care makes that you feel and perform to your highest potential.

Nutrition and supplements
Your chiropractor may recommend dietary changes or supplements to help improve your condition. A wide range of health supplements are available at the clinic for specific musculoskeletal problems and for a wider range of health issues.

Exercise
You will be given home exercises and may like to join our Pilates-based spinal rehabilitation group. As a patient of the clinic you will have access to the Members log in where you will be able to download any of the exercise sheets available at the clinic.

Foot Care
Your feet connect you to the ground. Any dysfunction here will be reflected through, and magnified in the spine, so it is important that your feet move correctly as you walk. If, during examination and treatment, your chiropractor believes that you have an imbalance here, you will be referred to an expert podiatrist who will be able address the problem for you.

We also offer craniosacral therapy to help balance and revitalise your body and mind.

Chiropractic is the art and science practiced by chiropractors. In many ways chiropractic is similar to physiotherapy and osteopathy as practiced by physiotherapists and osteopaths. Although there is much debate about the difference between Chiropractors and Osteopaths, in reality their approaches have much in common. Physiotherapists who manipulate are also similar to Chiropractors and Osteopaths.
